Template License & Terms of Use

Applies to the Indie Producer Starter Kit and all individual templates sold by 7972 Films.

When you purchase a template or kit from 7972 Films, you are buying a license to use it — you are not buying the right to redistribute or resell it. By completing your purchase, you agree to these terms.

What you can do

Use and fully customize every template for your own film, video, and media productions.
Make unlimited copies for your own projects and team.
Adapt the layout, fields, and content to fit your workflow.

What you cannot do

Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or give the templates away — in original or modified form — as your own product, freebie, or lead magnet.
Remove, hide, or obscure the "Created by 7972 Films" credit.
Claim authorship of the templates themselves.

Licensing for teams & companies

The standard license covers one buyer and their productions. For studio-wide, multi-seat, or commercial redistribution licensing, contact us at the email below.

No warranty

Templates are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. 7972 Films is not liable for any loss or damages arising from their use.

Not legal advice

Agreement-style documents (such as the Talent & Crew Deal Memo) are starting templates, not legal advice. Please have a qualified attorney review any such document before using it on a real production.

Refunds

Because these are digital products delivered instantly, all sales are final. If a file is defective or you have trouble accessing your templates, email us and we will make it right.
